Argos is doing some cracking Black Friday deals this year, but finding the right product can be tricky when you're being bombarded with sale items from every possible direction. Luckily, we've been scouring through the deals ahead of time to find the best tech bargains around. Whether it's a new TV, games console or tablet, we've got you covered.
TVs
If you're after a 4K bargain, the Philips 55PUT64000 is now just £649, down from £999. That's a saving of £350. The 50in and 40in versions of the PUT64000 are also on sale for £529 and £379 in case you need something a little smaller, but here you're only saving £270 and £220 respectively.
For those who want more smart TV services in their new TV, you'd be better off looking at the LG UF770V, the 55in version of which is now on sale for just £799. It originally cost £1,299, so you're saving over £500 here. This is also a 4K TV, and we really liked the next model up, the UF850V when we reviewed it earlier in the year.
Alternatively, the Sony KDL55W755CPU is also on sale for £629, but this is only a Full HD set. Alternatively, the Full HD Samsung UE55J6300 is on sale for £799. We loved the 32in version of this particular model, but bear in mind that this is a curved TV, so you'd have to really like the curve to choose this over a similarly priced 4K set. Samsung does have excellent smart services, though, so it's still worth considering.
Tablets
Argos has been selling the excellent Nexus 9 for an incredible £200 for at least the last six months, but this week you can pick one up for just £190. Admittedly, this isn't a huge saving compared to recent prices (Argos would have you believe you're saving £110 compared to its original list price), but it's still a great price for what's one of the most powerful tablets you can currently buy. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 10.1in is on sale, too, for just £180. With a metal kickstand built-in to the back of the tablet, it's great for watching TV or films on your lap and playing games on the sofa. We gave it 4/5 and a Recommended award when we reviewed it at the end of last year.
Now that the Tesco Hudl 2 is no more, those after a budget tablet should consider the Nexus 7, which you can grab for just £98. It's a little old now, but it's still due to get an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow and, in the absence of the Hudl, it's still a great bargain. Read our Nexus 7 review for the full picture.
Smartphones
The Sony Xperia Z3 was one of our favourite smartphones of 2014, and now you can pick one up SIM-free for £300, saving you £100. The Z3 has been replaced by the Xperia Z5 in the intervening months, but it's still a great smartphone and has one of the best battery lives we've ever seen. Read more in our in-depth Z3 review.
You can also pick up a 2nd Gen Moto E for just £80, making this a smartphone budget bargain. It might not cost much, but this 4G handset is one of the best entry-level phones you can buy right now, and its new price of £80 makes it even more competitive. Another good phone bargain this year is the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua, which is on sale for just £150. This is a fantastic price for this phone, as it was originally £225 when we reviewed it back in July. With a fast processor and brilliant build quality, this is a great choice if you want something a little more upmarket than the Moto E. Here's our review to see how it compares to the competition.
Action Cams
The GoPro Hero+ LCD is a great starting point for those new to action cams, and Argos is selling it for £198, saving you £51 off the list price. The non-removable casing is a bit of a pain, but you can also capture 8-megapixel stills from it as well. Read our full review to see if it's the right action cam for you.
Games consoles
If you still haven't bought a PS4 yet, now might be a good time to buy one. With Argos, you can get a 500GB PS4 with FIFA 2016 and Star Wars Battlefront for just £300. Just be aware that you'll need to add both the PS4 Star Wars Battlefront bundle and FIFA 2016 to your basket separately to get the deal.
