Galaxy Note 4 QHD IFA Poster

IFA poster shows that the Note 4 will have a QHD screen, as does Samsung's mobile site

It's only a couple of days until we see the Galaxy Note 4 unveiled at IFA, but already one crucial piece of information has been leaked: it will have a QHD screen.

A snap of the official IFA show poster, shown on GSMArena, clearly shows that the Note 4 will have a QHD (2,560x1,440) display. If that wasn't enough proof for you, then Samsung's own mobile site has leaked the same information.

The mobile site carries a Galaxy Note 4 XML UAProf (User Agent Profile), which confirms that the SM-N910T (the phone's internal codename) indeed has a resolution of 2,560x1,440.

This will put the Note 4 in the same league as the LG G3 and means that it has a higher resolution screen than the current flagship model, the Samsung Galaxy S5. In effect, the Note 4 will become the phone's new flagship model, just in time to go up against the new iPhone 6L, which launches on the 9th September.

We were expecting this resolution, so that fact that it has been leaked gives us some more confidence in the other specs we have. This includes a quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 CPU, 4GB of RAM and a microSD card slot. Internal storage will be available as 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options. It will run Android 4.4.3 (KitKat) and have a 16-megapixel phone.

There's an official event on Wednesday night and we'll be at the show to bring you the full information and hands-on live from the event. We'll bring you any further leaks we get before hand.
