The Nintendo Switch is launching soon. With the 3 March release date drawing near, it won’t be long until we finally get our hands on Nintendo’s latest console. You best place your order soon to make sure you have the Switch on launch day. Here’s how to pre-order the Nintendo Switch in the UK.
At the moment, you only get two choices when making your purchase. All Switch purchases come with the console, docking station, HDMI cable, power cable, controller straps, controller grips and both left and right Joy-Con controllers (a choice of either grey or red/blue). At the time of writing, there aren’t any game bundles on offer.

Nintendo Switch UK pre-order: GameSeek
GameSeek might not be a website you’re all that familiar with but, at the time of writing, it's currently selling the Nintendo Switch at the cheapest price out of all UK retailers. For just £198.50 (that’s £81.49 cheaper than Nintendo’s asking price), you can pick up the Switch with free shipping.

Nintendo Switch UK pre-order: Amazon UK
If you’re looking at making good use of that Amazon Prime subscription, you’re out of luck. For the time being, Nintendo Switch pre-orders are out of stock on Amazon UK and there’s no indication if/when we can expect fresh stock. I’ll update this article as and when we hear more information.
Nintendo Switch UK pre-order: Game
Game might be your go-to for high street pre-orders. There aren’t any specific game bundles yet, but you can get some exclusive little extras like some Zelda-branded headphones and a charging dock. There’s also free delivery, but Game isn’t guaranteeing launch-day delivery.
Nintendo Switch UK pre-order: Argos
Argos is also a great choice and at the time of writing, still have units available to pre-order at RRP. Individual games and accessories can also be pre-ordered here, too. Argos say that all Switch pre-orders will be delivered on launch day.
Nintendo Switch UK pre-order: Tesco
Likewise, Tesco is still selling the Nintendo Switch at the £279 launch price. There aren’t any bundles (as is the case with all retailers at the moment), but you can still buy the console on its own and the launch games, too. Tesco also guarantees launch-day delivery if you book sharpish.
