In fact, the average price for the Smart Series 6000 stands at £96.61, under half of the RRP. But the Prime Day offer is by far the best deal: at £50.49 it’s over £5 cheaper than the previously recorded low (£55.99).

Amazon’s users testify to the quality of the Series 6000 – of 2,109 reviewers, 1,490 issued the product with a five star review, with five stars being by far the largest category of the bunch. Pocket Lint gave the product four stars, with the only concrete cons (other than “bluetooth might be wasted on some”) listed as “high price”, which, thanks to Amazon’s killer flash sale, is hardly an issue any longer.
