Computing giant Dell has announced a new deals event named 'Black Friday in July', which features a wave of massive discounts across laptops, desktop PCs and HD monitors. This sale started today (9 July 2018) and it will last for a week and a day before wrapping up on Tuesday 17 July.
"Our Black Friday in July offers give consumers the ideal opportunity to grab a surprise deal that they wouldn’t otherwise find this time of year," said Dell UK's Jamil Nathoo in a statement. "It’s perfect timing for parents preparing ahead of the next school year, but we’ve ensured the products on offer mean there is something for everyone, whether you need a device for studying, gaming, general family use, or for business."
This seems like rather tactical timing from Dell with regards to the online sales season: in scheduling its savings for this week, Dell has gotten ahead of the game by dishing out deals a week before Amazon Prime Day's 36-hour sales bonanza (which begins on 16 July).
Rather than waiting until Prime Day to nab a bargain, then, you can head over on the deals page of the Dell website right now, where the savings have already begun. More deals will arrive at 8am every morning between now and next Tuesday, with these being some of the biggest price reductions that you can take advantage of right now.
