We're rapidly approaching the official UK launch of Motorola's Moto 360 smartwatch. We were impressed with the gorgeous design and circular display in our review, and now that a firmware update has alleviated some of our concerns regarding battery life, there's no question this is the Android Wear smartwatch to buy. If you're hoping to pick one up on launch day, you'll need to move fast; it sold out on the US in a matter of hours, and we're expecting something similar here in the UK.
Confusingly there's no way to pre-order the watch directly from Motorola - the official website merely lets you 'register for updates'. It won't show up in the Google Play Store until you can actually buy one either. If you want to make sure you get hold of one come launch day you'll need to look for a third-party retailer. Luckily we've done all the hard work for you, with the links below taking you straight to the pre-order page for each website. We've scoured the web to find you the best deal, so you can be sure you won't be paying over the odds for the circular smartwatch.
AMAZON
The UK's biggest web retailer is listing the Moto 360 for £199.99, with free delivery throughout the UK. Just be careful not to buy from a third-party seller, as there are already a few charging significantly more for the watch. Amazon is likely to have the largest amount of stock at launch outside of Google and Motorola, so may be your best bet at getting hold of one on launch day.
CLOVE
Clove is usually our go-to website for getting prices of new phones and tablets ahead of their official release, but it also stocks a comprehensive amount of wearables - including the Moto 360. You can pre-order either the grey or black model for £199.99 including VAT, although the site says it will only have 'limited stock' in October, with more units arriving in November - meaning you'll have to move fast to secure your watch for launch day.
O2
At the time of writing, O2 was listing the Moto 360 as 'out of stock'. There's still a possibility O2 will get more stock in time for launch, so we've included a link to the pre-order page, but if you're desperate to get a watch on launch day it may be a better idea to use one of our other recommendations.
